Lunch at my place and dinner at ECP
With Princess Pengy, the day would have been absolutely puurrfect.
Anyway, this is just an account of what happened today. We (G, G and myself) planned for a cookout at my place and invited the company. Meatloaf was to be the centre of attraction cos we ALL haven't tried what meatloaf is! So we planned a meal round it. And cos I thought that it would be rather carbohydrate and protein based, I suggested a salad. And we ended up with a great fruit salad. Thanks to Giz's choice of food. Anyway, here's the picture.

Heh. It felt good that I could make Papa Ken regret something he said! Hahah! Insult my sandwiches somemore! Hee. Cheap thrill this is. =) Oh, and before I forget... Shutch slipped at my house today. Cos she was rushing to answer a phone call, from someone who had called the wrong number. So worth it hor. Yeah, worth the laugh. Hahahah! As Papa Ken says, I think we need to wrap Shutch up in bubble wrap. Just in case. At least when she falls, we can hear the bubbles popping. *grin*
Oh. And an interesting conversation we had during lunch. Pineapples and periods dun go. Topic started by the most unlikely candidate. You guess. Second issue - birds' nest are made from swallows' spit. Giz linked it to eating socks, with spit in it. How yummy. And later in the car, when I said I needed warm socks, the conversation led to spitting in the socks, and even pee in the socks. How interesting.
Then we played Uno stacko (finally!) and the spoon game. The conclusions are that Papa Ken has shaky hands and cun multi-task! And "there is somethng wrong with the sofa". Cos those sitting on the sofa seemed to be slower at the spoon game! Especially when Papa Ken had to take his 'spoon of shame' and retreat from the game! Hahaha!
When we got bored when Papa Ken kept on losing, we proceeded to East Coast Park for a frisbee session cos it's such a NICE cooling day! Luckily Papa Ken knew where there was an open field to play. And he even knew where the peeping toms (why are they called toms?) hang out at nite! Hmm... what do you make out of THAT??
Frisbee was a fun affair. It's interesting how jumping around, throwing and catching an orange plate can be so fun. Hee. Shutch demonstrated lots of ditzy poses today. =) There was running with your knees lifted high, while holding the frisbee like a tray, with both hands. There was bending your back while reaching up with both hands to catch the frisbee as it flies overhead. There was catching the frisbee ith one leg lifted up like taking a bimbotic photo. (Which we ALL tried!) I know there is one more pose, but I cun remember now!

Just trying to imitate Shutch...

At Bedok Jetty...

Pretty sand castles.... which I learnt are made using moulds. But they were quite intricate though... all the way to the rocks used to build those castles in real life.

Couldn't resist climbing the tree lah. There were nicer trees but it was too dark. See? I'm NOT the ONLY kinesthetic one! There are similarities between us 4... that's why we are not as weird! Haha!

Dinner at ECP. The food was exceptionally good today! Yummy satay... yummy chicken wings (Shutch wasted the chicken wing tips as usual! Hee)... yummy sugar cane juice (oops, I mean, bamboo juice)... from the Malay stall.

Papa Ken doing a rendition of the Chinese wu xia xiao shuo... where they drink from the big jar of wine before fighting. I wishI had taken a video!!

And there was Chinese music (by Wang Jie) played at the background instead of the English oldies they played the last time we were there... and of cos they had to be the remix versions of the songs to totally destroy them.
In any case, today was a really good day. Including the walk back to the car. First time Papa Ken parked so far and din complain! Hahah! Although Papa Ken says that I have/had a black aura on my face during lunch today (which I din notice at all!)... I was really happy to see the company. And if there was Pengy, it would have been more awesome. Thank you for playing with me and my friends! I wonder how I would survive without you all!
Ohoh, and sorry about the absent-minded me for forgetting to claim my wallet, keys and handphone from Shutch. AGAIN!

EH!! I didnt do such an unglam pose k, open legs like a starfish. You all improvise one!!! I swear I look like a clown when I play sports, with all my weird poses and noises which reveal my inability to play them well... So ya thanks for laughing at me yea? Hehehe.
And erm, if you saw how I ate my IKEA chicken wings the other day (I didnt touch the skin at all!!) you'd be grateful I even attempted to grate at the ECP chicken wing tips.

Oh oh and I cant believe we both forgot about your wallet and handphone again... When we left your place the second time, we tried to re-enact our conversation the first time round... Haha!!
Yeah we love you, that's why imitate you mah. =) Ken achieved the best effect though. Hahah!
Re-enact? How did the conversation go like?

Yeah I love the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and *ahem* the gravy too.
As for the pineapples, I am partial to that because it is that time of the month for me :P
